Qualifications
Qualifications are pilot certifications for specific skills. They show that you have met a required standard, such as completing a strong airfield landing or boom refueling performance.
How Qualifications Work
A qualification is awarded when your account has the required evidence for that skill. The game checks your saved performance record, then adds the qualification to your logbook if the requirement is met.
Some qualifications are permanent. Others are valid for a limited time and can be renewed by meeting a lower renewal score before or after expiry.
Current Active Qualifications
| Qualification | How to Earn It | Validity |
|---|---|---|
| Pilot Cadet | Sign in with an authenticated player account | Permanent |
| Airfield Landing | Reach 70000+ in airbase landing scoring | 30 days |
| Boom Aerial Refueling | Reach 70000+ in boom AAR scoring | 30 days |
Airfield Landing and Boom Aerial Refueling can be renewed with a 60000+ score while the qualification is active or when it needs renewal.
Reserved Qualifications
Some qualification slots are already visible in the catalog but are reserved for future or not-yet-connected activities, such as academy graduation, overhead break, F-15C weapons, navigation, and carrier recovery.
If one of these appears locked, it may simply mean that the matching training or scoring activity is not available yet.
Where You See Them
Qualifications appear in the logbook. When a new qualification is awarded, the game can show a popup immediately or replay the unlock notification later in the logbook.
