Account & Profile
Your Red Flag Sim profile is the identity used for progress, logbook records, rankings, qualifications, and medals.
Account Types
You can start quickly with an anonymous account. This is useful for trying the game, but it is tied to the current saved account state.
For long-term play, link or sign in with a Unity ID. A linked account is the safer choice if you reinstall, change devices, or want your progress to remain associated with the same identity.
What Your Profile Contains
Your profile can include:
- pilot display name;
- callsign;
- squadron or flight information;
- country;
- rank and sublevel;
- Career XP;
- total flight time;
- login streak and activity history used for progression.
Leaderboards and public displays use a smaller public version of your profile, such as display name, callsign, avatar, rank, sublevel, and XP.
Keeping Progress Safe
Progress belongs to the signed-in player account. If you switch accounts, the game switches to that account's profile, records, qualifications, and medals.
If you play anonymously, consider linking the account before relying on long-term progress. Linking helps preserve your pilot identity and makes it easier to recover progress later.
When Profile Data Updates
Your profile can update after:
- signing in;
- opening the logbook;
- completing flights or skill events;
- receiving Career XP;
- earning or renewing a qualification;
- unlocking a medal.
